Instructors Wanted
Help Grow the Next Generation of Makers
We’re expanding our class offerings and inviting skilled instructors to share their craft in a setting that brings together locals, visiting artists, and travelers seeking hands-on, meaningful experiences.
We welcome proposals across a wide range of traditional arts and functional crafts — from woodwork, ceramics, and fiber arts to jewelry and metalsmithing. We are especially growing our programming in cowboy trades and heritage skills, including leatherworking, silversmithing, and other time-honored crafts of the American West.
Our classes attract a mix of engaged learners, from our local community to tourists and creatives who travel here specifically to learn, make, and connect. Whether you’re interested in teaching a single workshop or offering classes on a recurring basis, we’d love to hear from you.
If you have a skill to share, whether it’s a refined trade or a unique creative practice, we encourage you to apply, even if it doesn’t fit neatly into a category. For those looking to stay more connected, there are also opportunities to grow with us and help expand traditional craft education year-round.

Volunteer
We are a small group of volunteers just getting this adventure started, and are in need of volunteers from all walks of life, to help with the many aspects this folk school entails.
So if you’re willing to share your time (however much you can), our RMFS group, the Grand Lake community, and the school would greatly appreciate it.
Please fill out this form with your availability and interests and we will connect with you to discuss further.
