Take your glass fusion skills to the next level in this intermediate-level class, where you’ll explore how to create stunning watercolor effects using glass powders, frits, and sheet glass. Building on the basics covered in our Glass Fusing for Beginners class, this workshop focuses on layering and blending color to mimic the soft, fluid qualities of watercolor painting.

You’ll begin by designing a background using glass powders and pieces, learning techniques to mix and blend color with a painter’s eye. After the first firing, you’ll return to contour and refine your piece—whether it becomes a unique art tile or a shallow decorative bowl.

PREREQUISITE: This is an intermediate class. Students must have completed Glass Fusing for Beginners before enrolling.

WHEN BOOKING THIS CLASS: please select the first day you’d like to attend — your first session will be from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Your second session will automatically be scheduled for the following day from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Important exception: If your first session is on a Tuesday, your second session will take place on Thursday instead of Wednesday.
