Let your creativity take flight in this intermediate glass fusion class, where you’ll design and create a one-of-a-kind butterfly-inspired vase. Using a selection of colorful sheet glass and decorative elements, you’ll build your piece layer by layer, preparing it for not one—but two—firings in the kiln.
In the first firing, your design will fuse into a unified, vibrant composition. The second firing brings the transformation: the softened glass will slump into a custom mold, taking on its final organic vase shape—usually between six and seven inches tall with a 2.5-inch base. No two are ever alike!
This workshop is designed for students who have already taken our Glass Fusing for Beginners class and are ready to take on a more sculptural project with guided instruction on shaping, color flow, and design balance.

PREREQUISITE: This is an intermediate class. Students must have completed Glass Fusing for Beginners before enrolling.
WHEN BOOKING THIS CLASS: please select the first day you’d like to attend — your first session will be from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Your second session will automatically be scheduled for the following day from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
Important exception: If your first session is on a Tuesday, your second session will take place on Thursday instead of Wednesday.
