Participants will discover the art of transforming raw wool fibers into vibrant masterpieces by first learning the rhythmic process of wet felting. With warm water, soap, and their skilled hands, they will layer and mesh the wool fibers to create a sturdy fabric, which will serve as the canvas for their envisioned aspen picture.
As the wet felting concludes, participants will transition to the captivating art of needle felting. Armed with barbed needles, they will delicately shape and add intricate details to their aspen picture, bringing it to life with realistic textures and gradients. This immersive experience not only teaches the technical aspects of felting but also provides a meditative and therapeutic journey, fostering a deeper appreciation for the artistry of nature-inspired creations.
